Pictures from Okuganaya

Here are the pictures my students at Okuganaya Elementary gave me during my goodbye party:

This is the picture from the Yochiens (Kindergarteners). It says (roughly) “Take care of yourself”, and then along the bottom “Okugayana Kindergarten. 4 year olds.”

This is the cover of a book of pictures from the Elementary School students. It says “Doryuu Sensei (me) Sankyuu (Thank you)”, and then along the bottom “Okuganaya Elementary School 2nd and 3rd Year Students.”

I can’t completely figure out what everything here says, but as far as I can tell it’s “To Drew sensei. This is a present we drew for you (somehow this is written as a question). Also, please come and play.” In this picture Ayu is on the left and I am on the right.

This just says “To Drew sensei”

I translated this one by myself, but I’m pretty certain it says “Drew sensei and everyone in 2nd and 3rd year study English together.” I am the one teaching them animals, and apparently numbers. The one saying 3 drew the picture.

This is a picture of my plane flying over Mt. Fuji. It was drawn by Hiroto.

This one says, “Thank you very much for this year Drew sensei. We won’t forget you. You won’t forget us either will you?”. It was drawn by Mio.

This one was difficult for me to understand, but I think it says, “Drew sensei, it was good to meet wasn’t it? Thank you for many things. I will not forget you. Thank you for seeing us.” The girl in the yellow is saying “Goodbye”. The drawing of Japan is saying “Hyogo Prefecture”. At the bottom it says, “Don’t forget Japan”, and “We won’t forget you.”

This says, “To Drew sensei, thank you for doing a lot of different English things. We will surely [absolutely] not forget you. Thank you very much for the past.”

As of July 11th there are still some more pictures, but it is difficult and time consuming to translate them, so I will get to the rest later.
